The Echo Pride of Merseyside Awards 2015 – YMCA Liverpool wins Community Group Award

YMCA Liverpool is proud to announce that it has been awarded The Echo Pride of Merseyside Community Group Award 2015.

The awards recognise the efforts of those who help their local communities, act as an ambassador for the area and pour their energy into the causes they support.

This year’s event included 11 categories, spanning everything from Courage to Community Group, Sports Team to Fundraising.

The overall Pride of Merseyside Award was given to an individual who has demonstrated an outstanding contribution to Merseyside by significantly enhancing the region’s reputation, building bridges between communities or reducing inequality.

The winners were announced in September at a ceremony in the glamorous surroundings of the Rum Warehouse within Liverpool’s Titanic Hotel.
