Introducing Liverpool Accommodation Based Support Consortia

The Liverpool Accommodation Based Support Consortia (LABSC) is made up of 7 organisations (Local Solutions, Nacro, New Start, Nugent Care, NWPC, Plus Dane and led by YMCA Liverpool) working together to provide flexible support options to homeless individuals across the City of Liverpool. We are a collective of charitable, not for profit organisations who are committed to promoting choice and independence for the most excluded, marginalised and disenfranchised people. We will be working in partnership with Liverpool City Council to deliver a tiered model of service delivery.

The members of the Consortia have come together from a previous place of competition in the commitment to delivering the best possible solution to commissioners and service users. Our joined up approach demonstrates our desire to make the Tiered Service Model work in the most effective way possible. We will achieve this through joined up processes and value led delivery.

Our support planning process is designed to be personalised, co-ordinated and enabling and this is achieved through working in partnership with the service user to:
•Understand what is important to the person
•Support them to make decisions about their care and treatment
•Identify and achieve their goals

We are open and transparent in our engagement with commissioners, contractors and broader stakeholders, acknowledging what is working, what needs changing and how and when this process will happen.

We look forward to working with all the consortia organisations in the future.
