Nutrition

We provide fresh and balanced meals to all children at each meal or snack time. A choice of fresh fruit is available during both in the morning and in the afternoon. We also cater for all dietary requirements and preferences.

  • Fresh water is available to the children at all times. No cordial is served
  • Morning and afternoon snacks consist of various fruits and a choice or either milk or water to drink
  • Lunch is always a balanced hot meal cooked freshly on the premises by our dedicated nursery cook, Renata
  • Tea is fresh, wholesome and balanced. These meals include a variety of choices including homemade pizzas, sandwiches/wraps, pasta and rice meals.

The daily menu is displayed by the kitchen in the foyer and Renata regularly shares recipes for parents which are found on the parents’ board.

Healthy eating is further promoted in our allotment in the nursery garden. Our children have the opportunity to grow and harvest a range of fruit and vegetables which are used in the nutritious meals.
